Welcome everyone to my first blog,
My name is Tamara Howarth and I am currently studying my second year of Sport Coaching at university. Within one of the modules I have to write about my experiences during work experience and write reflective blogs to improve my performance in the future.
The placement I will be attending is a local business run by Elaine Smith who was a PE teacher at my old high school. Elaine plans and delivers sport sessions, from the national curriculum PE (except swimming) and the target audience is students from reception to year 6. During this placement I will be able to shadow Elaine and support the students while they complete the activities.
This blog site will cover a weekly diary of the events that occur and the positives and negatives of each session. This will then allow me to reflect on my experiences so that if they were to happen again i’d know how to react correctly.
